Ground into powder, cade wood is used as a natural incense.
As far back as the Middle Ages, shepherds in Languedoc and Provence burned cade wood in their chimneys to repel insects and absorb odors.

- Fragrance: Scots Pine – Cade is naturally fragrant, so in addition to the fresh scent of Scots Pine, it gives off a light woody, peppery fragrance reminiscent of the garrigues of Provence.
